Charles Youssef F/W 2015 Presentation
David Batchelor's "Magic Hour" light installation, architect Tadao's bold concrete staircases, and plate tectonics were all inspirations for Youssef's new F/W 2015 collection. The collection this season features smooth matte silk and polished metal (recreate geometric structures and cracks) zig zag appliqués, and his signature triangular and folded details. Delicate black and navy eveningwear made from silk organza layers had graphic accents in red, yellow, and blue jewel tones. A beautiful balance between romantic and sartorial; key pieces includde Italian cashmere coats, wool skirts, and cotton shirting.
