LUCIO CASTRO F/W 2015

It was no surprise Lucio found inspiration in the 60's TV movie "Ubu Roi" by Jean-Christopher Averty for his F/W '15 collection; he has always voiced his passion for filmmaking and building character through clothing. The movie was based on a play by Alfred Jarry, and known as the first sign of modernism; the tension between serious and playful captivated Castro and led to this effortless and masculine collection. His "invisible uniform" aesthetic was definitely playful: pops of red, Dadaist and 3D images graced sweaters, and gold spray painted sneakers were used all throughout. One cannot forget the red, grey, and blue quilted pattern, thick enough to keep you warm during those windy fall days while adding texture to ones look.
