Number: Lab Spring 2011

It was a sporty affair for the spring 2011 show at Number Lab this season. Designer Luis Fernandez displayed a collection of colorful sportswear with a preppy twist that proved to be not only durable and comfortable but very casual as well. His inspiration came from the sport bike polo which was demonstrated briefly at the opening of the show.

The looks contained plenty of brightly colored tech trimmed shorts, some loose and fitted cotton tees and tanks, and nylon colorblock jackets. One can easily picture themselves in these outfits enjoying some time on a boat, dressing it up for a surf & turf dinner, or simply playing any kind of sport. All in all it was a very wearable and vivid collection especially made for those who don’t always like to feel so dressed up and stiff and would rather feel a bit more relaxed and playful while still looking classy.
