CREEM, edited and published by photographer Jenn Cress, forces its readers to open their eyes and minds and challenges them to question their understanding of what a magazine is and what it can be.

By bringing you a distinctive look at fashion and art & design and putting them in perspective with other cultural mediums, CREEM provides a refreshing departure from the increasingly homogenized world of magazines at a time when harsh economic realities are weeding out the excess in all things fashion-related.
This “stepping back and reevaluating” heralds a newfound discipline, from narrowing down a designer’s focus to shifting the fashion industry’s entire calendar.
“While the fashion ‘season’ is arguably on its way to becoming irrelevant as far as the consumer is concerned, and some hope that it is only a matter of time before the industry follows, CREEM is already offering up a seasonless and boundless look at fashion, art, and design,” says Cress.
In the first issue she offers an interview with designer Laurent Seguin, whose humbleness despite major achievements mirrors a new ethic; a piece by New York blogger/stylist Katerina Simonova on the discipline it takes to get to where you’re going in the fashion world; and an amazing shoot featuring model Diane Johnson.
