Last month We had the pleasure to interview the beautiful Anane at Benny Soto’s club Ceilo.
Last week Johan, Sixto, and myself ventured out to Pacha for the Vega Records Christmas Party.
We had the access to do a mini documentary. Sixto was able to steal Anane away for a follow up interview to get a little more personal with her. Future projects, upcoming performances, to her favorite man who makes her sparkle and glow with jewelry. (who we also interviewed) Hope you like this show, because Anane is someone We truly love. Her music has eased Our soul and brought us so much happiness. Hope it does the same for you.

Hey Metrovelvet friends. Last night we attended the Vega Records Christmas Party,
which was held at Pacha NYC. The night was phenomenal, with Louie Vega serving
up delicious beats all night. We were invited to film a special with the lovely Anane,
who we introduced to you last month.

We followed her from hair and makeup, to her flawless performance, to and exclusive
follow up interview. (Which you don’t want to miss). The Soul Channel Man Mr. V was
also in attendance, as the MC. Everyone from Vega Records, Tommy Boy Records, and
close friends were all there in great spirits to celebrate a record label that has stayed
true to the art of music. We also got an exclusive interview with an amazing jewelry
designer who adorned the songstress with her jewels for the night. We’ll introduce him
to you guys along with the full length coverage of this night. We want to give thanks to Anane,
for being a beauty and a true real artist. We love you! Antonello Coghe(Happy Bday), for constant help for
making all of this possible. Louie Vega for supplying the world with music that moves you from the soul. Everyone at Vega Records & Tommy Boy Records.
December 26th we will have the whole special for you guys to enjoy.

A: Yes, as of recently. I just spent my first season in Milan this past summer.
Q:How did you start in the modeling Business?
A: Myspace oddly enough. I was asked to shoot something
by this amazing photographer, Quincy Scott, through myspace.
That is when I first took this whole thing seriously. That first time you go through the frames of pictures you are just in awe, almost freaked out. It looked like a totally different person to me.
It is amazing how lighting and makeup can really alter your look.
Q: Which is your model agency?
A:Un-repped in NYC. VUE in Los Angeles. Flash in Milano.
Q: Your fist big Advertising?
A: ha, yet to come.
Q: Favorite Designer or Brand?
A:I LOVE american apparel. I could spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on their tshirts.
They fit great, so comfortable, and come in hundreds of colors it seems.
Q: Favorite color?
A: Blue
Q: Favorite Meal?
A: The Calamari at Cafeteria in Manhattan.
Q: Favorite Music & Artist?
A: Im in awe of Amy Winehouse. She is such a true artist.
Q: Any embarrassing situation on the runway or Photo shoot?
A: Well, one time I was asked to try on a pair of pants at a casting… and i totally wasnt wearing any underwear. Thank god im somewhat fearless.
Q: Recent Projects?
A: Im really on a short hiatus just working a normal job trying to save up a good chunk of change to finance my future trips you have NO idea how quickly you can spend money overseas.
The euro sucks! Also trying to get inshape before heading to LA (hopefully) and then going to work on my placements in Europe again (London, Paris, etc.)
Q: How would you like to see yourself in 10 Years?
A: I dont know. I have no idea what I truly want to do in the future. Im enjoying the life I lead now, alot of people cant say they get to travel to other countries and get their picture taken for money.
I will enjoy this while it lasts. I ultimately want to do something in entertainment, but behind the scenes. God only knows what opportunities will arise and what doors will open for me.
